“give Peter Beinart a pager”

[edit]

This might be worth mentioning:

In February 2025, Beitar USA publicly called for the murder of Peter Beinart. They wrote on Twitter: “We urge all Jews on the Upper West Side to give Peter Beinart a pager. He is a traitor, a kapo and we must oppose him,” referencing the near-simultaneous explosion of 3,000 to 4,000 pagers that Israel used to attack Hezbollah activists in Lebanon. We would need to have reliable sources which show that this information is due for inclusion. IOHANNVSVERVS (talk) 23:26, 4 February 2025 (UTC) Edited 01:46, 5 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Also there's a recently created page for Betar US, this may belong better there. IOHANNVSVERVS (talk) 01:47, 5 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Haaretz has it. Expect NYT soon. Zerotalk 03:26, 5 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@Zero0000: @Babel fish: During that Pager Campaign Betar gave Norman Finkelstein a pager. Put a paper in his jacket pocket and threatened him verbally. It was wrote in "Betar US"; and deleted by User:IOHANNVSVERVS :
"In 2025, Betar started the Pager Campaign by putting pagers in people’s pockets – targeting prominent personalities like diplomat and United Nations secretary-general António Guterres, Jewish writer Peter Beinart[1], and political scientist Norman Finkelstein – a move slammed as a death threat following Israel’s 2024 Lebanon electronic device attacks.[2][3]"
